Even though there are billions of people in the world, there are 3 main learning styles, or ways in which people assimilates, retains and recalls information. To learn what your child's is so you can provide more effective study methods for them, continue reading.

How to Adapt to Your Child's Learning Style

Visual Learners

As the name states, visual learners are those who learn better through visual cues. You can identify if your child is one of them if they have a greater understanding of color, spatial arrangements, shapes, faces, and more. If they can retain and recall information better through their eyes, help them draw, watch a video, or do conceptual maps to study.

Auditory Learners

Auditory learners, on the other hand, have an easier time recognizing and receiving information through their ears. For them, music, rhythm, remembering conversations, and more, comes naturally.   That's why, to help your auditory child study, you can talk to them about the lessons they're going over or create related songs.

Kinesthetic Learners

Last but not least, there are kinesthetic learners, who are people that use their body, hands, and movement to understand information effectively. These learners are often hyperactive and athletic.   Since they rather move around, help your kinesthetic child study better by providing experiments that they can do to learn, or give them tools they can touch.
